Install on Shopify
Install your store's private Luria app from the link we email you, agree to the data terms, paste the conversion pixel, and confirm your first test is live.

Luria runs on your store as its own private app. We build that app for your store and send you a private install link. After that you do three things, all inside Shopify admin. Luria never asks you to edit your theme.
What you'll need
- Access to your Shopify admin as the store owner, or as staff who can install apps
- Your store address in the form
your-store.myshopify.com(Shopify admin, Settings, Domains, the one ending in.myshopify.com)
Step 1: Get your private install link
In luriart.com/onboarding, the Go live step asks for your your-store.myshopify.com address. Enter it and press Send me my install link. We build your store's app and email you a one-press install link, usually the same day. If you are working with us directly, we send the link to you ourselves.
Luria is not in the Shopify App Store, and there is no public install link. Only the link we send you works for your store. It expires after about 7 days; if it has, reply to the email and we send a fresh one.
Step 2: Install the app
Open the link while you are logged in to your Shopify admin and press Install once.
If Install looks greyed out, open the link again in a fresh tab. Do not press Cancel or reload the install page; that keeps the button disabled for a few minutes.
Step 3: Agree and start the import
The Luria app opens inside your Shopify admin. Press Agree and start the import. That accepts the Terms and the Data Processing Addendum and starts importing your store history (orders, products, customers, discounts, abandoned checkouts), so your first test is built from your real numbers.
A timer on the same page shows how long the import takes, usually a few minutes. You can close the page; we email you when it finishes.
This one is not optional. Until the current terms are on record, Luria will not serve or collect anything on your storefront. If we later update the terms, the app asks you to agree again and serving pauses until you do.
You do not touch your theme. Luria adds its one script tag to your live theme by itself.
Step 4: Paste the conversion pixel
This is how a purchase is matched to the version the shopper saw.
- In the Luria app, press Copy pixel code.
- In Shopify admin go to Settings, then Customer events.
- Press Add custom pixel and name it

- Paste the code, press Save, then Connect.
Step 5: Approve your first test
When the import finishes, your first split test is prepared from your numbers and waits for one approval from you. Go to luriart.com/app, enter the email you gave us, open the sign-in link we send you, and press Approve on the test. After that first approval, testing runs on its own.
Verify it worked
Inside the Luria app in Shopify admin, the Setup checklist has five lines. You are done when they read:
- App connected and tracking: Live on your store
- Data processing terms: Accepted
- Sales tracking pixel: Sending data (press I added it, test the pixel to check it right away)
- Store history: Done
- First split test: Running, after your approval
A password-protected storefront is fine; it still works.

Common failures
- Install is greyed out. Open the install link again in a fresh tab. Never reload or cancel the install page.
- The install link does not work. It expired (about 7 days) or it belongs to another store. Reply to our email for a fresh one.
- The import never starts. You have not pressed Agree and start the import yet. Open the Luria app in Shopify admin (Apps, Luria).
- Tests run but results stay empty. The conversion pixel is missing or not connected. Repeat Step 4 and make sure you pressed Connect.
- Headless or Hydrogen storefront. Not supported yet. Email hello@luriart.com before you start.
What happens if you uninstall
Removing the app in Shopify marks the connection uninstalled, removes Luria's script tag from your theme (if Shopify blocks that, the tag stays but does nothing), deletes the stored access tokens, stops serving within about 60 seconds, and cancels any Luria subscription.
