Plans and metering
Your first 100 attributed conversions are free, then a tier priced by your monthly visitors, from $79 a month, billed on luriart.com, never on your Shopify invoice.
Luria has one meter and one engine. The first 100 attributed conversions are free, and only paid orders use one (an order cancelled before it is paid never does). After that you are on a tier set by your monthly visitors: the visits Luria counts on your site over the last 28 days, at a 30-day pace (the same "monthly visitors" number your dashboard shows; someone who comes back twice counts twice). Billed by Luria on luriart.com, and you can cancel any time.
| Monthly visitors | Price |
|---|---|
| Up to 10k | $79 / mo |
| 10k to 20k | $199 / mo |
| 20k to 40k | $449 / mo |
| 40k to 75k | $649 / mo |
| 75k to 100k | $799 / mo |
| 100k to 200k | $1,299 / mo |
| 200k to 400k | $2,099 / mo |
| 400k to 500k | $2,399 / mo |
| 500k to 1M | $3,999 / mo |
| 1M to 2M | $5,999 / mo |
| 2M to 5M | $10,999 / mo |

The tier sets the price, never the product. Every tier gets the same variants, the same held-out control, the same promotion bar and the same dashboard. The upgrade button shows your tier and charges its price. Over 5M visitors there is no button price: you book a call and we build a custom plan together, from $14,999 a month. If your monthly visitors sit in a different tier on two daily checks in a row, Luria moves your price up or down by itself and emails you first, with the new tier, its price, the visitor count behind it and the date it starts. A higher price begins with your first bill at least 30 days after that email; a lower price begins with your next bill. Neither ever starts part way through a month you already paid. If your visitors fall back before a higher price starts, the increase is cancelled and we email you that too. While a change is coming, your billing card shows the new price and the date it starts. Over 5M we email you to set the price together on a call. Already paying on our earlier sales-based prices? You keep the price you pay, and Luria never moves it.
What you'll need
- Luria installed and tracking, so conversions can be attributed at all.
- On Shopify, access to the Luria app inside your Shopify admin. That is where the upgrade button lives.
- A card, only when you upgrade. Nothing is charged during the free allowance.
What counts as an attributed conversion
An attributed conversion is an order that arrived carrying Luria's attributes, meaning a conversion the running system can claim. Organic orders never count against your allowance.
Two more rules worth knowing:
- One order counts once. On Shopify the order id is the dedupe key, so the pixel and the order webhook can both report the same sale without double counting.
- A fully refunded order gives its slot back. Partial refunds do not. See Guarantee and refunds.
Steps
Step 1: Watch the meter
Both the dashboard and the Luria app in your Shopify admin show the same count. The dashboard's Settings tab ("Current plan") and the sidebar read "{n} / 100 free sales" (the last word follows your goal: sales, sign-ups, calls booked or downloads). The app's Usage card reads "{n} of 100 free attributed conversions used" with a meter beside it.
Step 2: Know what happens at the cap
At 100 attributed conversions, variants pause and measurement continues. Every page goes back to its original version, but exposures, events, order webhooks and your dashboard keep running. You lose the lift, never the data.
The line under the Overview greeting switches to: "Free limit reached (100/100). Upgrade to turn tests back on."
Step 3: Upgrade
Open the Luria app inside your Shopify admin and press Upgrade (it reads Reactivate optimization once you are at the cap). The card above the button shows your tier and its monthly price. Checkout opens on luriart.com in a new tab, because a payment page cannot render inside the Shopify admin frame. Pay, and variants resume. Over 5M visitors the button reads Book a call instead.
Off Shopify, or if you prefer, press Upgrade in the dashboard sidebar or on the Settings tab's Current plan card; it opens the same checkout. Settings also shows your plan and your usage.
Where the charge appears
On your card, from Luria, on luriart.com. Never on your Shopify invoice. Luria is a public unlisted app installed from luriart.com, so it does not use Shopify's billing at all. Once you are paying, the app says "Subscription active, billed via luriart.com (never on your Shopify invoice)."
Payment problems and cancellation
| State | What happens to your site |
|---|---|
| Payment fails | Your plan goes past due and variants stop serving until the payment clears. Measurement keeps running. |
| You cancel | Variants stop serving. Your data and dashboard stay. |
| You uninstall the Shopify app | The subscription is cancelled for you, and serving stops within about 60 seconds. |
To cancel, email hello@luriart.com, or uninstall the app. Paid plans are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where the law requires it, and we email you at least 30 days before any new price starts.
Verify it worked
After upgrading, the Usage card in the Shopify app shows the active plan and drops the free-conversion meter. On your site, a test page serves its variant again instead of control. The dashboard sidebar shows your paid plan instead of "Free limit reached".
Common failures
- Variants still paused right after paying. The store's serving config refreshes on about a 60 second cycle. Reload the page after a minute.
- The upgrade button does nothing. Checkout opens in a new tab. Allow pop-ups for your Shopify admin.
- You are not on Shopify. The meter and the checkout button live in the Shopify app today. On other platforms, email hello@luriart.com and we'll set your plan up directly.
- Conversions counted look low. Only attributed orders count, and one order counts once.
Common questions
No. You install, run, and use your 100 free attributed conversions with no card on file.
No. The 100 free attributed conversions are a one-time allowance per store, not a monthly quota. A fully refunded order returns a slot to it.
No. Events, order webhooks, and the dashboard keep running. Only the variants pause.
